Ambassadors of Christ is blessed to have a leadership team of pastors, elders, deacons, and lay-leaders who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
The pastors and staff of Ambassadors of Christ are assisted by the elders and deacons who have submitted themselves to the Lord and to serve His Church.
Overseer Victor R. Scott
Presiding Elder
Since July 24, 2022, Overseer Scott has been the Presiding Elder (Senior Pastor) of Ambassadores of Christ Ministries. Prior to this appointment, Overseer Scott served as Executive Pastor in January of 2014. He has served in a variety of churches and ministry contexts throughout the state of Georgia.
With a passion for one-on-one discipleship, biblically grounded preaching, and the study of church history (in particular the area of ecclesiology) Overseer Scott has helped Ambassadors of Christ continue to grow and mature into its purpose and mission.
He is the author of over 10 published works on topics related to church membership, faith, biblical study, and liturigical practice.
He graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2002 with a BA in Sociology. He also earned a Master of Divinity degree from Luther Rice University and Seminary in 2011.
Overseer Scott has been happily married for 19 years to his wife, Miranda. They have 2 daughters.

Bishop Luis R. Scott, Sr.
Founding Pastor
Bishop Luis R. Scott is the Founder and Senior Pastor Emeritus of Ambassadors of Christ Ministries.
Ambassadors of Christ began to serve the Columbus, GA; Ft. Benning, GA; and Phenix City, AL areas on June 3, 2007.
Prior to that, Bishop Scott served as a chaplain in the United States Army. He retired from active duty in July 2007.
Bishop Scott is known for being an insightful and challenging preacher of the Gospel, an authority on leadership development, and an accomplished author of more than 10 books on theology, spiritual healing, and counseling.
He has expressed an unwavering commitment to restoring back to the Church the biblical mindset. The focus of this commitment is an emphasis on reconciliation and restoration.
Bishop Scott graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 1986 (BA, Biblical Theology, Greek Emphasis) and from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1989 (MDiv.)
Bishop Scott has been happily married for 42 years to his wife, Iris. They have four grown children: Victor, Luis, Jr., Verónica, and Josué and they have ten grandchildren.
The Diocese of Columbus
In August of 2018, Bishop Scott was consecrated a Bishop in the Lord’s Church as a member of Alliance Partners Network International, under the ecclesiastical leadership of Archbishop William C. Hackworth, II, who is the Establishmentarian and Metropolitan Archbishop.
At that time he was also appointed as the first and founding Diocesan Bishop of the Diocese of Columbus. Bishop Scott was also appointed to sit as a member of the Apostolic Council of the Alliance Partners Network International.
